What the Job Involves
In the role of Street Lighting Senior Technician, you will take charge of the management and coordination of street lighting functions and contractors. You will support the development and maintenance of public lighting systems, handle emergency service provision, and lead financial management for the allocated budget. You will also ensure compliance with safety regulations, manage correspondence and complaints, and maintain accurate highway asset records. You will report directly to the Street Lighting Manager, engage with various stakeholders, and occasionally work outside normal office hours for emergency purposes.
