Who You Are

We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic about our ambition to make Camden the best place to live and work. You will be passionate about ensuring that services are delivered in a relational way, with the best outcomes for residents at its heart. You believe everyone has the right to a decent, safe, and warm home and are proactive in addressing problems and supporting people early on. You work to make services accessible, transparent, and easy to approach, all while fostering collaboration and community connection.

What the job involves

As a Neighbourhood Housing Officer, you will manage estates and blocks, providing resident-focused service in line with Camden’s standards. You will serve as the local contact for residents, offering support and early intervention to sustain tenancies. You will address nuisance and anti-social behavior, use tenancy enforcement tools proportionately, and proactively manage communal areas. You will collaborate with various stakeholders and occasionally work outside normal hours for community events. Continuous development and improvement of services through engaging with policies and training is key.
