What the job involves

As a Rent Accountancy Officer, you will manage rent accounting administration, including the control, monitoring, and reconciliation of rent income. You will support stakeholders by providing advice, resolving rent-related issues, and improving administrative processes. Your responsibilities will also include setting up Direct Debits, maintaining the rent accounting system, managing DWP payments, and ensuring compliance with Council policies. Additionally, you will assist with training new staff, conduct system development and testing, and contribute to financial procedure production.

Skills

  • Expertise in rent accounting systems (e.g., Northgate, ASH, Oracle Fusion)
  • Strong customer service orientation
