What the Job Involves
You will deliver a consistently high-quality gardening and grounds maintenance service. Key responsibilities include maintaining grass areas, shrubs, flowerbeds, and hedges. Tasks involve weeding, planting, pruning, lawn maintenance, landscaping operations, and seasonal duties like snow removal. You handle various tools and machinery, report incidents, and provide supervision to apprentices/trainees. Being a point of contact for residents, you assist with inquiries and ensure the safety and well-being of the community in line with health and safety legislation.
Skills
- Experience in gardening/ground maintenance
- Ability to work in small teams
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Valid UK driving licence with category C1
- Professional and friendly communication
- Adept at using various gardening tools and machinery
