Who You Are
As a Social Worker within the Children and Young People's Service, you are a committed professional who adheres to the Health and Care Professions Council’s Code of Practice. You have a deep understanding of child care legislation and a background in social care, ensuring you provide high-quality services to children, young people, and their families.
What the Job Involves
This role requires you to manage a caseload of Children in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children, allocated by the Team Manager. You will undertake assessments, formulate and monitor plans, and ensure timely outcomes with multi-agency partners. You will also engage in supervision, maintain case records, liaise with professionals, and contribute to service planning and development. Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is central to this role.
