You are a dedicated and reliable individual who excels in maintaining cleanliness to a high standard. As a team player with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, you also have the potential to work independently when required. Previous experience in cleaning, along with knowledge of health and safety practices like COSHH, is beneficial. Basic Welsh language skills are required, with further levels considered desirable.

What the Job Involves

Your primary responsibility is to deliver an effective and high-quality cleaning service in designated areas of a specified building within Rhondda Cynon Taf. This includes cleaning office spaces, reception areas, stairs, toilets, and meeting rooms. You will ensure compliance with Health and Safety procedures, maintain stock levels, and complete any assigned tasks related to the upkeep and cleanliness of the facility. Additionally, you are part of a wider effort to meet climate change and carbon reduction targets. You will also be responsible for ensuring the safety of vulnerable individuals by reporting any concerns related to safeguarding. The role may require flexibility in terms of working hours, including potential shifts.
