As a Client Relationship Manager, you will play a pivotal role in fostering strong, strategic relationships with our clients. You will be the trusted advisor, ensuring that our partners maximize the commercial benefits of our service while driving long-term contract success. Through proactive client engagement, data-driven insights, and innovative problem-solving, you will champion our mission to enhance workforce solutions and create lasting impact.

Salary – £45,000.00 - £55,000.00 per annum
Key Responsibilities
Matrix Milestone is a key part of the Matrix product suite, providing a procurement platform which enables clients to procure and manage Statement of Work contracts in a compliant, streamlined and consistent manner. Our service involves a combination of an intuitive software platform and subject matter procurement specialists supporting clients with projects of all size, scale and complexity.
Client Relationship Excellence
• Key point of contact for your clients - Serve as the primary strategic partner, building long-term, trust-based relationships at all levels.
• Accountable for all clients meeting delivering contractual commitments.
• Proactively identify and address client needs.
• Accountable delivering monthly and quarterly reports to ensure clear picture of client SLA/KPI’s have been delivered and agreeing key next steps on any short falls prior to client meeting.
• Maintain a strong and close working relationship with the procurement team to ensure projects are delivered to achieve maximum value for the client
• Organise, facilitate and deliver QBRs, monthly reviews (where applicable), on-site meetings, and regular
communication to maintain strong client engagement.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring our service evolves to meet client expectations.
Revenue & Growth Optimisation
• Ownership of revenue delivery across Milestone customer base, ensuring all budgets and targets are met
• Maximise revenue from existing customers, expanding relationships and driving additional projects post sale
• Identify new business opportunities, including expansion into additional service categories and cross-selling of Matrix solutions.
• Partner with client stakeholders to uncover cost-saving and revenue-generating strategies.
• Optimise contract longevity, securing renewals and extensions through outstanding service delivery.
Insight-Driven Account Management
• Leverage data analytics to provide clients with actionable insights and value-added recommendations.
• Prepare and present comprehensive business reviews, budgets, and forecasts.
• Influence client decision-making through clear, compelling storytelling backed by data.
• Support the Project Management Office (PMO) Team in onboarding new clients and transitioning them to business-as-usual operations.
Strategic Contract Management & Retention
• Develop and implement client-specific retention strategies, ensuring long-term partnerships.
• Stakeholder mapping across clients: procurement, commercial, service areas etc
• Collaborate with the Growth Team on new bids, renewals, and pricing strategies.
• Partner with contract managers and procurement teams to ensure timely contract agreements and renewals.
Skills & Experience
• Passionate about Customer Relationships – You excel in building trust, rapport, and long-lasting
partnerships.
• Procurement Knowledge/expertise – You have experience in public sector procurement or working
with/selling to public sector procurement teams
• Exceptional Communication & Influencing Skills – You can effectively engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Data-Driven Mindset – Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel to extract insights and tell
compelling client stories.
• Commercial Acumen – Deep understanding of revenue generation, cost optimization, and strategic
account management.
• Resilient & Adaptable – Thrives in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities.
• Expert Negotiator – Able to navigate complex discussions and drive win-win outcomes.
• Market Awareness – Knowledge of the public sector procurement space.
