Role

Who You Are

A skilled and experienced social worker, you are passionate about safeguarding children and supporting families within the adoption service of Lincolnshire County Council. You excel in analytical report writing and demonstrate excellent time management skills. Though experience in the field of adoption is preferred, what truly sets you apart is your deep understanding of the trauma and attachment needs of children and your ability to make and maintain strong relationships with adoptive parents.

What the job involves

This role involves completing assessments and offering support to prospective adoptive parents and families in need of post adoption and Special Guardianship Order (SGO) support. Within a busy team managing adoption and SGO services, you will be required to travel across the large county of Lincolnshire. The role entails presenting at panels, attending court, and understanding adoption agency regulations and the Adoption Support Services Regulations 2005.
