You are a dedicated and compassionate professional committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. You work collaboratively with families and partner agencies to assess needs, plan interventions, and deliver support, helping children thrive in safe and nurturing environments. Qualified as a Social Worker, you are registered with Social Work England and embody standards of practice through case responsibility and partnership with multi-agency colleagues.
What the job involves
The role involves conducting high-quality, child-centred assessments to safeguard children and young people. You will build trusting relationships with children and families, applying strengths-based and trauma-informed practice. Managing a diverse caseload, you will develop, review, and deliver care plans and evidence-based interventions reflecting children's voices and best interests. Additionally, you will complete statutory assessments and risk evaluations in line with legislation and foster collaborative work with multi-agency partners. Preparation of timely and clear documentation for court and decision-making forums, along with maintaining high-quality records, is essential. You will contribute to team quality assurance, promote equality and diversity, participate in duty work, professional development, and embrace service initiatives.
