What the Job Involves
As the Workshop Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of Plymouth City Council's vehicle workshop, ensuring timely and compliant maintenance and inspection of the fleet. You will manage a team of 14 FTE, deliver services within a budget, and implement policies for safe and efficient operations. Your role involves ensuring Health & Safety compliance, leading commercial service delivery, managing the MOT station, and liaising with both internal and external clients. Attention to productivity monitoring, stock control, and documentation is essential. This position requires you to work 37 hours per week;
