Who You Are
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated temporary Registered Manager for Cardiff Council Children's Services. You have a strong background in residential childcare management, holding a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care Services (Children and Young People’s Registered Management) Wales & NI, and a registration with Social Care Wales. Your approach is positive and proactive, aiming to innovate and understand the needs of vulnerable children and young people.
What the Job Involves
As the Registered Manager, you will lead and manage a children’s home, ensuring compliance with The Regulated Services Regulations and delivering high-quality care for children and young people. Your role involves working closely with multi-professional teams, implementing service development, and ensuring appropriate pathways or placements for up to 12-week residents. Additionally, you will be required to work outside of normal hours, providing on-call support.
