What the job involves
The role involves chairing statutory review meetings for looked after children, ensuring compliance with the IRO Handbook Regulations (2010). You will hold a caseload of children and attend meetings tailored to their needs. The position requires you to challenge ineffective actions, audit care plans, facilitate training, and offer direct support and consultation across departments and external agencies. You will also maintain effective communication lines with social work staff, contribute to service development, and ensure that the children's voices are central to the care planning processes.
