What the Job Involves
This role involves supporting the Corporate Communications, PR & Engagement Manager in promoting and protecting the council's reputation. You will be responsible for creating and disseminating news releases, responding to media inquiries, and ensuring effective communication both internally and externally. Additionally, you'll manage relationships with media and stakeholders, provide communications advice, and oversee the work of external contractors. Your role requires adherence to corporate policies and maintaining compliance with relevant legislation.
