Role

Who You Are

You are a fully competent legal professional with a minimum of 3 years or more relevant experience in housing management litigation. You possess a valid and current Law Society Practicing Certificate (if a solicitor) or a Bar Council certificate with confirmed ability to conduct litigation (if a Barrister). You do not have requirements for an Enhanced DBS or driving licence for this role.

What the Job Involves

This role requires you to provide legal advice and assistance on routine and complex housing management, landlord & tenant matters, and conduct efficient and effective litigation. You will manage cases involving anti-social behaviour injunctions, possession claims, tenancy fraud, disrepair claims, and other related legal matters. Your responsibilities include drafting legal documents, instructing external solicitors when necessary, developing internal legal provisions, ensuring effective communication, developing processes and procedures for efficient service delivery, and maintaining compliance with legal frameworks and regulations. You will also support and mentor junior team members and maintain professional relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners.
