Deputy Manager, Residential Care Home

Who You Are

You are a motivated and compassionate leader, ready to support the day-to-day operations and development of a residential care home in line with CQC standards. As a deputy manager, you will work closely with the home manager to ensure high-quality, person-centered care for older adults, including those living with dementia. Your dedication to achieving the organization’s key purposes and enhancing performance will be vital.

What the Job Involves

Your role will include managing a team of staff to provide support and care to service users, ensuring compliance with operational requirements and best practices. You will lead and supervise shifts, contribute to recruitment and training, and assist in managing resources efficiently. You will actively engage in service planning, quality assurance, and liaise with colleagues and external partners to enhance service user support. You will also handle safeguarding responsibilities, manage budgets, and maintain accurate records, while promoting the health and safety of staff and service users.
