Who You Are

As a Principal Planning Officer, you have recent town planning experience at a senior level within a London Local Planning Authority. You are adept at handling various types of planning applications and have a strong understanding of local planning regulations and processes. Your knowledge of Idox/Uniform is an advantage.

What the job involves

This role involves managing a diverse range of planning application types such as major planning applications, listed building consent applications, complex minor planning applications, and pre-application advice requests. You will prepare planning committee reports, present at planning committee meetings, and draft appeal statements, representing the council when necessary. The position is hybrid, with remote work and one mandatory on-site day each Thursday.
