What the Job Involves

  • Works with the manager and colleagues to define outcomes, set targets, and monitor performance within a culture of continual improvement.
  • Supports operational plans to ensure optimal use of team resources.
  • Builds strong partnerships to facilitate efficient service delivery.
  • Uses new technologies to adopt modern and agile working practices and improve customer service.
  • Leads on the Right to Buy process and other Home Ownership Initiatives.
  • Delivers advice and support to Council homeowners and addresses any lease or agreement breaches.
  • Leads consultations with homeowners and prepares technical aspects of casework for legal challenges.
  • Guides Home Ownership Officers in preparing service charge accounts.
  • Maintains administrative aspects of home ownership properties.
  • Liaises with internal stakeholders and works closely with the legal team and finance.
  • Promotes and supports all Housing Service and wider Council objectives.
  • Embeds equity, equality, fairness, and diversity into team working and service delivery.
