What the Job Involves
- Works with the manager and colleagues to define outcomes, set targets, and monitor performance within a culture of continual improvement.
- Supports operational plans to ensure optimal use of team resources.
- Builds strong partnerships to facilitate efficient service delivery.
- Uses new technologies to adopt modern and agile working practices and improve customer service.
- Leads on the Right to Buy process and other Home Ownership Initiatives.
- Delivers advice and support to Council homeowners and addresses any lease or agreement breaches.
- Leads consultations with homeowners and prepares technical aspects of casework for legal challenges.
- Guides Home Ownership Officers in preparing service charge accounts.
- Maintains administrative aspects of home ownership properties.
- Liaises with internal stakeholders and works closely with the legal team and finance.
- Promotes and supports all Housing Service and wider Council objectives.
- Embeds equity, equality, fairness, and diversity into team working and service delivery.
