What the Job Involves
This role involves executing building repairs, planned preventative maintenance, and replacements across various trade and engineering disciplines, with a particular emphasis on plumbing. Tasks will include routine reactive repairs, planned maintenance, statutory testing, and installation work primarily targeted at Camden schools and children's centers, along with other Council-owned properties. Using best trade practice and current standards, you will aim to deliver works with the highest quality and customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Experience in plumbing repairs and maintenance
- Knowledge of TMVs, pumps, and general water systems
- Proficient in using handheld technology
- Understanding of L8 legislation and testing
- Full driving licence
- Strong customer service skills
- Flexible and proactive approach
- Enhanced DBS (barred lists - children and adults)
