What the job involves

This role focuses on maximizing the supply of suitable and affordable private rented homes in line with the council's homelessness accommodation strategy and placement policy. You will be responsible for achieving supply targets, developing and delivering schemes to attract new landlords, and arranging sustainable placements. Your efforts will contribute to improving property standards, increasing housing supply, and providing high-quality advice and assistance to customers and accommodation providers. Additionally, you will work collaboratively with Housing Options colleagues to fulfill homelessness duties and ensure that all income-generating schemes are optimized. You will also ensure that the needs of vulnerable individuals are met and address equalities needs while ensuring the council's resources are properly allocated.
