What the Job Involves

This role involves managing Camden's diverse property portfolio of temporary accommodations, including council-owned stock, leased accommodations, hostels, and nightly paid options, both within and outside Camden borough. You will provide proactive housing management services to ensure properties remain well-maintained, safe, and health & safety compliant. Key responsibilities include conducting property inspections, managing tenancy breaches, and supporting residents in tenancy sustainment. Relationship building with landlords and property providers is essential to meet repair obligations and maintain standards. You'll contribute to effective management of temporary accommodations and engage with partners to ensure timely lettings and support for residents, focusing especially on those with complex housing needs.
