What the Job Involves
Your primary responsibility is to complete viability assessments, SGO (Special Guardianship Order) assessments, and Regulation 24 fostering assessments. You may also undertake additional assessments as required by the Family and Friends Team. Additionally, you provide crucial support to kinship carers, especially in situations that involve Special Guardianship Support, including ASGSF assessments and SGO reviews. The role entails working closely with other service sectors such as the CLA team, CIN teams, and the Care Experience service to ensure a holistic approach to child care planning.
