What the Job Involves
The role involves leading the Camden Borough's Families Intervention Service, ensuring comprehensive, high-quality, and effective social work services are delivered to children and families. You will develop and implement frameworks for procedural resources, recording, performance management systems, and staff development programs. This position offers the opportunity to work with the renowned 'Camden Model of Social Work', supporting a learning culture under ‘outstanding leadership and management’. By delivering efficient leadership, you will ensure adherence to safeguarding and social work policy, monitor statutory compliance, anticipate government policy implications, and guide service development. You will manage social workers and service coordinators, maintain effective partnerships, and support equal opportunities and anti-discriminatory practices.
