What the Job Involves
This role is based within a dynamic supported living service where you will provide both physical and emotional support, including personal care to adults with disabilities. You will be actively involved in care planning, monitoring, and reviewing processes. Engaging in organizing activities both within the service and in the community, you will support clients in developing relationships and accessing the local area. Participation in performance management through supervision and appraisal is expected. You will adapt to the flexible demands of the service, including working evenings, weekends, and bank holidays when required.

- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
- Manual handling
- Safe handling and administering of medication
- Food and hygiene
- Infection control
- Epilepsy awareness
- Safeguarding adults awareness
- Effective communication with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to plan activities and support individuals
- Report writing and information recording
- Understanding of person-centered approaches
