What the Job Involves

As a Licensing Enforcement Officer, you will ensure business compliance with various legislation through enforcement action and advice. Your responsibilities include:

• Conducting inspections, enforcement visits, and investigations under the Licensing Act and related legislation.
• Handling complaints about licensed and unlicensed premises, ensuring compliant operations.
• Taking enforcement actions and preparing reports for prosecution, including court appearances and license reviews.
• Providing guidance and advice to businesses on compliance matters.
• Maintaining and updating manual and electronic data systems for accurate reporting.
• Staying informed about legislation and procedures related to enforcement.
• Participating in meetings to support customer service and policy development initiatives.
