What the job involves
As a Licensing Enforcement Officer, you will ensure business compliance with various legislative frameworks through enforcement actions and advisory roles. Your duties will include conducting inspections and enforcement visits, responding to complaints about licensed and unlicensed premises, and taking necessary enforcement actions as per policy guidelines. You will prepare reports and present cases for prosecution as needed, appearing in court as a representative of enforcement proceedings. Additionally, you are responsible for maintaining updated systems and collaboration with different authorities and agencies. Regular attendance at meetings and providing guidance to ensure business compliance are key aspects of this role.
